With over 15 years of experience in public affairs, communications, and community leadership, Sameera brings a thoughtful, solutions-focused approach to local government that is grounded in listening, collaboration, and getting results.

Brought Milton’s first wheelchair-accessible swing to a local park, expanding inclusive recreation for families
Led the installation of Milton’s first Orange Crosswalk, recognizing truth and reconciliation and honouring Indigenous communities
Supported the creation of a Veterans Crosswalk to honour those who served

Advocated for responsible development decisions, including standing up for community concerns around park construction

Secured funding for senior housing developments, including 265 Kerr Street and future projects delivering hundreds of units
